Ok, so here’s the thing. Of course, I’m going to tell you that you “need” a professional bio, I want to write it for you! That doesn’t mean you don’t really need it.
Professional bios can be used in a number of ways and across quite a few platforms. From your About page on your spiffy new website to your LinkedIn profile you haven’t had the chance to update in… gasp… years. Now is the time to take a moment for you and learn about yourself from someone else’s point of view, namely, mine.
Having someone else take a crack at your bio means having your very own personal cheering section that highlights every badass thing you’ve done so far in this life. Things you might not even think are important or worth sharing with the world. It’s like writing a love letter to yourself!
I’m being serious! I can hear you laughing over there! Can I tell you a secret? Someone else wrote my bio! Ikr? The lady that loves writing bios for entrepreneurs, solopreneurs and busy professionals… had someone else write her bio. I think they did a great job!
